Title: Loan Participation; Purchase, Sale, and Pledge of Eligible Obligations; Purchase of Assets and Assumption of Liabilities 
Abstract: NCUA previously issued a proposal to amend and clarify its loan participation rule. The proposal clarified the application of the rule and its relationship to other rules. The proposal reorganized and streamlined the rule to make it easier to understand. It also expanded the regulatory requirements that apply to federally insured, state-chartered credit unions. The rule is being finalized with some modifications.
