Title: Tribal Background Investigations and Licensing 
Abstract: The National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC), after consultation with Indian tribes, published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking proposing to modify the regulations concerning background investigations and licensing to streamline the process for submitting information and distinguish the requirements for temporary and permanent licenses. The final rule became effective on February 25, 2013.
