Title: Regulation SBSR--Reporting and Dissemination of Security-Based Swap Information
Abstract: The Commission proposed Regulation SBSR to implement provisions of the Dodd Frank Act to provide for the reporting of security-based swap information to registered security-based swap repositories or to the Commission and the public dissemination of security-based swap transaction, volume, and pricing information. Proposed Regulation SBSR also would require a registered SDR to register with the Commission as a securities information processor on existing Form SIP. The Commission reproposed various modifications to proposed Regulation SBSR, particularly Rule 908 thereof, which addresses cross-border transactions, in connection with RIN 3235-AL25, and reopened the comment period on May 23, 2013.
