Title: ●Energy Conservation Standards for Portable Air Conditioners  
Abstract: DOE is reviewing and updating energy conservation standards, as required by the Energy Policy and Conservation act, to reflect technological advances. DOE may also issue standards for covered equipment classes for which no standards currently exist. All new and amended standards must be technologically feasible and economically justified. This is the first review of energy conservation standards for portable air conditioners.
