Title: Hazardous Materials: Reverse Logistics (RRR) | |
Abstract: This rulemaking would address changes to the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) that are applicable to reverse logistics based on petitions received by PHMSA. The issue of reverse logistics involves the transportation of hazardous materials that have been damaged or returned from the retailer to a return center. Specifically, the rulemaking would establish a regulatory definition of "reverse logistics" and outline the responsibilities of those that offer hazardous materials returned by retail customers. | |
