Title: ●2017 Edition Certification Criteria for Health Information Technology
Abstract: The 2017 Edition certification criteria would include updated standards, implementation specifications, and certification criteria for health information technology. The 2017 Edition certification criteria would be applicable to the Certified EHR Technology definition, which is necessary for eligible health care providers to use to participate in the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs. The 2017 Edition certification criteria and related proposals would continue to enhance interoperability as well as specifically support meaningful use Stage 3 proposals under the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs.
