Title: Energy Efficiency Standards for Certain Commercial and Industrial Electric Motors | |
Abstract: Consistent with changes made by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA 2007), DOE is both amending its existing electric motor standards, and establishing new standards for a wide variety of electric motors. Under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), as amended, DOE must publish a final rule determining whether to amend its standards no later than 24 months after the effective date of the previous final rule. | |
