Title: Energy Conservation Standards for High-Intensity Discharge Lamps
Abstract: EPCA directed the Secretary of Energy to determine if an energy efficiency standard was technically feasible, economically justified, and would save energy. Upon completion of a positive determination, EPCA directs the Secretary to initiate a test procedure and energy efficiency standard related to this equipment. On June 16, 2010, the Secretary determined that energy efficiency standards for high-intensity discharge lamps were technically feasible, economically justified, and would save a significant amount of energy.
