Overall Description of Deadline: The Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA 2007) amended the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA) to require that DOE review test procedures for covered products at least once every 7 years. Because test procedures for traffic signal modules and pedestrian modules were issued prior to EISA 2007, DOE determined that the review period started with the enactment of EISA 2007 on December 19, 2007, and will amend the test procedures by December 19, 2014.
