Title: Energy Conservation Standards for Residential Ceiling Fans and Ceiling Fan Light Kits | |
Abstract: DOE is initiating an energy conservation standard rulemaking for ceiling fans and ceiling fan light kits as required by the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, specifically, pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 6295(ff)(5)-(6). This rulemaking will consider amendments to the standards for these products to reflect technological advances. All amended energy efficiency standards must be technologically feasible and economically justified. | |
