Title: Coverage Determination for Computers and Battery Backup Systems
Abstract: DOE may classify a type of consumer product as a covered product if it meets criteria outlined in 42 USC 6292(b). DOE can consider prescribing energy conservation standards for a product it classifies as a covered products if it is determined, among other things, that a new standard is technologically feasible and economically justified. This is a proposed coverage determination that computers and battery backup systems meet the criteria to be considered a covered product.
