Title: ●Test Procedures for Ceiling Fans | |
Abstract: DOE is required to consider an amendment to its test procedures all covered products, including ceiling fans, at least once every seven years. (42 U.S.C. 6293(b)(1) and (16)) In addition, EPCA requires DOE to amend its test procedures to account for a product's energy consumption in standby mode and off mode. (42 U.S.C. 6295(gg)(2)(A)) This rulemaking will address all of these statutory requirements. | |
