Abstract: DOE is initiating an effort to determine whether to amend the current energy conservation standards for residential conventional cooking products including induction cooking products. According to the Energy Policy and Conservation Act's six-year review requirement, DOE must publish a notice of proposed rulemaking to propose new standards for conventional electric cooking products or amended standards for conventional gas cooking products or a notice of determination that the existing standards do not need to be amended by February 26, 2015. | |
