Title: ●Test Procedures for Ceiling Fans Light Kits
Abstract: DOE is revising its test procedures for ceiling fan light kits (CFLKs) established under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act. DOE is required to consider amendment to its test procedures on all covered products, including ceiling fan light kits, at least once every seven years. Existing standards require lamp efficacy as the efficiency metric for some types of CFLKs and specify a maximum wattage for other types of CFLKs. This test procedure harmonizes these requirements and updates the test procedure references. In addition, the test procedure will addresses standby and off-mode power consumption.
