Title: American Fisheries Act
Abstract: This rulemaking would update 46 CFR section 356.51 and 356.47 to conform to the amendments made to 46 U.S.C. 12113 by sections 601(b)(2) and 602(a) of Public Law 111 to 281, respectively. This rule would also update 46 CFR 356.47(e) to conform to amendments made to 46 USC 12113 by section 307 of Public Law 112 to 213. These updates provide additional criteria necessary for MARAD to issue fishery endorsement eligibility determinations under the AFA.
