Abstract: FHFA issued an interim final rule that established procedures for the Suspended Counterparty Program. The regulation included requirements for reports to be submitted by the regulated entities and procedures for FHFA to determine whether an individual or company is a threat to their safe and sound operations, and should be suspended from doing business with the regulated entities.
