Title: Flexibility, Efficiency and Modernization in Child Support Enforcement Programs (CMS-2343-P) | |
Abstract:
In order to better serve Indian families, this rule proposes new criteria that will require State agencies to close a Medicaid reimbursement referral based solely upon health care services, including contract health services, provided through an Indian Health Program. The rule would require that State Medicaid agencies not refer cases for medical support enforcement services when the Medicaid referral is based solely upon health care services, including contract health services, provided through an Indian Health Program to a child that is eligible for health care services from the Indian Health Service. |
