Title: International Travel Merchandise 
Abstract:

Amendments to the CBP regulations (title 19 of the Code of Federal Regulations (19 CFR)) to provide for the establishment and operation of a new class of customs bonded warehouse for the entry, storage, and manipulation of "international travel merchandise," which is conditionally duty-free or domestic merchandise offered for sale to passengers for exportation that is placed onboard aircraft for international flights. The proposed amendments would implement the applicable statutory law, 19 U.S.C. 1555(c), that has previously been administered through U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) operational directives.
