Title: Early Intervention Program for Infants and Toddlers With Disabilities | |
Abstract:
The Secretary will amend regulations under part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). These regulations govern the Early Intervention Program for Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities. Specifically, the Secretary will clarify the nonsupplanting/maintenance-of-effort requirement and make other related changes regarding the compliance standard, the eligibility standard, the level of effort required of a State lead agency in the year after it fails to maintain effort, and the consequence of the failure to maintain effort. |
