Title: Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products: Test Procedure for Conventional Cooking Products | |
Abstract:
DOE has initiated a rulemaking for test procedures for induction cooking products that were not originally considered under EPCA. Based on comments from interested parties in response to the NOPR, DOE is proceeding with an SNOPR to conduct additional analyses and research to address these comments. As part of this SNOPR, DOE is considering additional test procedure amendments for gas cooking products with higher burner input rates which were previously excluded from standards due to a lack of data upon which to determine the measurement of energy efficiency for these products. |
