Title: Energy Efficiency Standards for Battery Chargers | |
Abstract:
EPAC, as amended by EISA 2007, requires the Secretary to determine whether creating statutory energy conservation standards for battery chargers is technically feasible and economically justified. If justified, the Secretary will issue new energy conservation standards by October 2015. Proposed energy conservation standards for battery chargers were published in the same document as proposed energy conservation standards for external power supplies. Standards for external power supplies were finalized on February 10, 2014 (79 FR 7846). |
