Title: Organization and Delegation of Duties | |
Abstract:
This rulemaking would make one update and one procedural change to 49 CFR part 501, the chapter of the Code of Federal Regulations that sets forth the organization of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and delegations of authority from the NHTSA Administrator to other Departmental officials, including the Deputy Administrator, Chief Counsel, and Senior Associate Administrators. This rule is ministerial in nature, and relates only to Agency management, organization, procedure, and practice. As this rule would not have a substantive impact on the public, the Agency does not expect to receive significant comments on the substance of the rule. |
