Abstract: The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) plans to issue final regulations regarding the qualification requirements for positions in the competitive service. The revisions are for the purpose of: (1) Deleting obsolete information, (2) clarifying requirements regarding the maximum-entry age and U.S. citizenship, (3) adding new information concerning appealing qualifications determinations, and (4) adding the Web address for qualification standards and requirements.
