Title: International Fisheries; Western and Central Pacific Fisheries for Highly Migratory Species; Fishing Effort Limits in Purse Seine Fisheries for 2014 
Abstract: This action revised existing limits on the number of days that U.S. purse seine vessels may fish on the high seas in the western and central Pacific Ocean pursuant to a decision made by the Commission on the Conservation and Management of Highly Migratory Fish Stocks in the Western and Central Pacific Ocean. The decision intends to reduce or otherwise control the fishing mortality rates of bigeye, yellowfin, and skipjack tuna stocks. This action was necessary for the United States to satisfy its obligations under the Commission on the Conservation and Management of Highly Migratory Fish Stocks in the Western and Central Pacific Ocean, to which it is a Contracting Party.
