Abstract:
This proposed rule would establish minimum health and safety standards for all Medicare-participating Advanced Diagnostic Imaging service suppliers to reduce unnecessary radiation, while preserving image quality. The rule is consistent with the "Initiative to Reduce Unnecessary Radiation Exposure from Medical Imaging," managed by the Food and Drug Administration, with a focus on the safety and quality of Advanced Diagnostic Imaging services. |
