Title: Migratory Bird Permits; Removal of Depredation Orders
Abstract:

On November 4, 2013, we published a proposal to remove regulations for certain depredation orders for migratory birds. We have finalized that proposal with two final rules. One final rule removes 50 CFR 21.42, concerning depredating migratory game birds in the United States, and 50 CFR 21.45, regarding depredation activities by purple gallinules on Louisiana rice crops. The other final rule removes 50 CFR 21.46, regarding depredation activities by scrub jays and Steller’s jays on Washington and Oregon nut crops.
