Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Critical Habitat Designation for the New Mexico Meadow Jumping Mouse
Abstract:

We will, if determined to be prudent and determinable, designate critical habitat for the New Mexico meadow jumping mouse (Zapus hudsonius luteus), an endangered species. Pursuant to the Endangered Species Act, we are required to designate critical habitat, to the maximum extent prudent and determinable, concurrent with a listing determination for a species. This species is endemic to New Mexico, Arizona, and a small area of southern Colorado.
