Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Critical Habitat Designation for the Western U.S. Distinct Population Segment of the Yellow-Billed Cuckoo | |
Abstract:
Pursuant to the Endangered Species Act, we are required to designate critical habitat, to the maximum extent prudent and determinable, concurrent with a listing determination for a species. We are developing a listing determination for the yellow-billed cuckoo as a separate rulemaking action (see RIN 1018-AY53). The range of the western distinct population segment (DPS) includes the area of parts of 12 States west of the crest of the Rocky Mountains. |
