Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Determination for the Columbia Spotted Frog Distinct Population Segment
Abstract:

We will make a listing determination regarding the Columbia spotted frog distinct population segment (DPS) pursuant to the Endangered Species Act. Columbia spotted frogs are closely associated with clear, slow- moving or ponded surface waters, with little shade and relatively constant water temperatures. Columbia spotted frogs in the Great Basin DPS are found in southeastern Oregon, southwestern Idaho, and north central Nevada. A separate rule at RIN 1018-BA36 pertains to critical habitat for this species.
