Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Removal of the Grizzly Bear in the Greater Yellowstone Area From the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife
Abstract:

We will consider removing the Greater Yellowstone Area (GYA) population of grizzly bears from the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife. To do this, we will evaluate the biological status of the GYA population in light of recent scientific analyses and legal considerations. This evaluation will include only the GYA population of grizzly bears. The ultimate legal status of this population under the Endangered Species Act will then be assessed in a proposed rule.
