Title: Rights-of-Way on Indian Land | |
Abstract:
This rule is necessary to update, clarify, and streamline practices and procedures for obtaining rights-of-way across Indian trust or restricted land. Specifically, the rule will update provisions that were promulgated in 1968 to address new technology such as fiber optic lines, detail the procedures for obtaining Departmental approval of rights-of-way, and eliminate unnecessary approvals. |
