Abstract:
The Paleontological Resources Preservation Act requires the Department of the Interior and the U.S. Forest Service to manage and protect paleontological resources on Federal land using scientific principles and expertise. These implementing regulations would specify the qualifications required for obtaining a permit to collect and study paleontological resources on Federal lands. |
