Title: Hearings Related to Federal Acknowledgment of Indian Tribes | |
Abstract:
This rule establishes procedures for hearings related to Federal acknowledgment of Indian tribes. A companion proposed rule (at 25 CFR part 83) would provide a Federal acknowledgment petitioner the opportunity to request a hearing upon a negative proposed finding. This rule would establish the procedures for the hearing, based on procedures used in other types of hearings. |
