Abstract: As part of the President's Export Control Reform effort, the Department of State proposes to amend the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to revise Category II (guns and armament) of the U.S. Munitions List (USML) to describe more precisely the articles warranting control on the USML, to establish a clear distinction between the USML and the Commerce Control List (CCL) for the control of these articles, and to specifically enumerate the articles that are controlled in that paragraph. | |
