Title: Appointment of Foreign Service Officers 
Abstract:

This final rule updates part 11 of title 22 of the Code of Federal Regulations, which implements portions of the Foreign Service Act for the Department of State. The revised rules is proposed to be substantially the same as guidance currently in the Foreign Affairs Manual. The Department's revision of part 11 is part of its Retrospective Review conducted pursuant to Executive Order 13563.
