Abstract:
Sections 431.263 and 431.264 of subpart O of 10 CFR part 431 incorporate by reference the American Society of Testing & Materials (ASTM) F2324-03 (2009), Standard Test Method for Prerinse Spray Valves. 42 U.S.C. 6293(b)(14). In general, a when an industry test procedure has been amended, the Secretary of Energy would amend the test procedure for that product to be consistent with the amended industry test procedure. ASTM F2324-03 (2009) has been superseded (amended) by ASTM F2324-13 and accordingly, under 42 U.S.C. 6293(b)(2), it is proposed to amend 10 CFR 431.263 and 431.264 to be consistent with the current industry test procedure for commercial prerinse spray valves. |
