Title: Electronic Applications for Licenses, Permits, and Safety Approvals (Electronic Applications)
Abstract: This rulemaking would amend 14 CFR parts 413 and 414 which requires an application for a license, experimental permit, and safety approval to be submitted to the FAA on paper and in duplicate. This rulemaking would make the application process more efficient by adding options for the licensees and permittees to file these applications with the FAA electronically without any paper copies. This rulemaking would also increase efficiency for the FAA and potentially represent a reduced cost to the licensees and permittees.
