Title: Duty-Free Entry of Space Articles | |
Abstract:
This proposed rule amends 14 CFR 1217 to remove language that refers to the recently retired Space Shuttle program and to clarify language for other ongoing programs that require some of this Rule to remain in place. Part 1217 establishes general responsibilities and conditions for duty-free exchange of hardware between NASA and its partners. The revisions to this Rule are part of NASA's retrospective plan under Executive Order 13563, completed in August 2011. NASA's full plan can be accessed at: http://www.nasa.gov/open. |
