Title: Voluntary Recall Notices | |
Abstract:
The Commission published a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) on November 21, 2013, to establish guidelines for uniform information to be included in voluntary recall notices that firms provide as part of corrective action plans under section 15 of the CPSA. The proposed rule also provides that, when appropriate, a corrective action plan negotiated under CPSC's regulations may include compliance program-related requirements. After reviewing comments, staff will prepare a final rule briefing package for Commission consideration. |
