Title: ●Third Party Testing Burden Reduction | |
Abstract:
Section 14(i)(3) of the Consumer Product Safety Act requires the Commission to seek opportunities to reduce the cost of third party testing requirements consistent with assuring compliance with any applicable children's product safety rule. In the FY 2015 Operations Plan, the Commission directed staff to submit an NPRM briefing package to the Commission addressing items to reduce third party testing burdens. Staff will prepare an NPRM briefing package for Commission consideration. |
