Overall Description of Deadline: Section 207 of the United States-Australia Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act, Public Law 108-286, 118 Stat. 919 (19 U.S.C. 3805 note), August 3, 2004, requires that initial regulations shall, to the maximum extent feasible, be issued within one year after the date of entry into force of the Agreement. The U.S.-Australia Free Trade Agreement, which was signed on May 18, 2004, entered into force on January 1, 2005.
