Title: Regulations Under I.R.C. Section 7430 Relating to Awards of Administrative Costs and Attorney's Fees 
Abstract:

The proposed amendments to the Treasury Regulations incorporate the 1997 and 1998 amendments to 26 U.S.C. 7430, relating to the awarding of attorney's, fees in administrative and court proceedings. The amendments to 26 U.S.C. 7430 were enacted under the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997 and the IRS Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998.
