Title: Certification, Compliance, and Enforcement for Electric Motors and Small Electric Motors | |
Abstract:
DOE is conducting a rulemaking to revise its certification, compliance, and enforcement regulations applicable to electric motors and small electric motors to conform to the certification, compliance, and enforcement regulations established by the Department for all other covered products and equipment. In addition to bringing the certification, compliance, and enforcement regulations for electric and small electric motors under the umbrella and general regulatory scheme of DOE's existing certification, compliance, and enforcement regulations for other equipment and products, these regulations provide specific sampling plans, certification of efficiency requirements, independent testing laboratory and certification program requirements, and labeling requirements for electric motors and small electric motors. |
