Title: ●Certain Water Quality Standards Applicable to Maine | |
Abstract:
EPA recently took action disapproving certain Maine new or revised water quality standards (WQS) all of which apply to tribal waters and some which also apply to State waters. EPA disapproved some of the standards because they do not adequately protect the designated uses. EPA is proposing to promulgate federal standards for the disapproved standards. EPA's proposed standards will reflect the latest science, including local and regional information and applicable EPA policies, guidance, and legal requirements. |
