Title: ●Protection of Stratospheric Ozone: Revisions to Reporting and Recordkeeping for Imports and Exports | |
Abstract:
The Federal Government is implementing the International Trade Data System to allow businesses to transmit, through an "electronic single window," the transactional data required by multiple Federal agencies for the import and export of cargo. As businesses currently must submit trade data to multiple agencies, in multiple ways, and often on paper, the transition to the automated electronic environment enabled by ITDS is expected to save businesses time and money. This rulemaking will make minor changes to the recordkeeping requirements for ozone depleting substances, such as removing references to specific Customs forms that will become obsolete under the new system. |
