Title: McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program
Abstract: The McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition Program (McGovern-Dole) helps support food security, child development, and education in low-income, food-deficient countries around the world. The program provides for the donation of U.S. agricultural commodities, as well as financial and technical assistance, to support school feeding and maternal and child health and nutrition projects. FAS plans to publish a final rule along with soliciting public comments for the McGovern-Dole Program to clarify existing language, update requirements, and ensure alignment with other federal regulations.
