Title: Child and Adult Care Food Program: Amendments Related to the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 | |
Abstract:
This final rule will codify several provisions of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 (Pub. L. 111-296; the Act) that affect management of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), including (1) developing policies under which institutions submit an initial CACFP application to the State agency; (2) allowing day care homes to assist families in transmitting program forms which contain household income information to the sponsoring organization; (3) modifying the structure and formula for determining administrative payments to sponsoring organizations of family day care homes; and (4) allowing sponsoring organizations to carry over up to 10 percent of their administrative funding from the previous fiscal year into the next fiscal year. |
