Title: Change in the Scope of the Maritime Nuclear Propulsion Prohibition in the Export Administration Regulations 
Abstract:

The Bureau of Industry and Security is publishing this rule to expand the scope of the prohibition in section 744.5 of the Export Administration Regulations to apply to both commodities and software, as well as technology. This change reflects the consensus of those United States Government agencies with an interest in export controls related to maritime nuclear propulsion activities.
