Title: ●Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Critical Habitat Designation for the Sonoyta Mud Turtle
Abstract:

We will designate critical habitat, to the maximum extent prudent and determinable, for the Sonoyta mud turtle as required under the Endangered Species Act. The Sonoyta mud turtle is native to Arizona and Mexico. Pursuant to the Endangered Species Act, we are required to designate critical habitat, to the maximum extent prudent and determinable, concurrent with a listing determination for a species. We will make a listing determination for the Sonoyta mud turtle as a separate rulemaking action (1018-AZ02).
