Title: Indian Child Welfare Act State Court Proceedings 
Abstract:

This rule will be a companion to revisions to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Guidelines for State courts on implementing the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA). The guidelines have not been updated since their establishment in 1979. This rule would establish definitions and certain baseline principles by regulation to ensure uniformity in ICWA implementation by State courts and agencies.
